Vehicles for military use

Vehicles during the war are simply expandable materials. Since russia bombed the factory that produced military vehicles, there has been a drastic shortage of cars for soldiers and missions. The government recognized this and allowed vehicles to be brought from Europe, tax-free. We also are eternally grateful to our Baltic brothers and sisters, who have donated their jeeps for freedom and democracy. We are looking at your Lithuania and Latvia!

The first time we were approached by Ukrsoul_org we knew what brigade needed the vehicle, what type, and for what type of missions. Imagine soldiers who have to cover miles and miles of territory to gather intelligence on foot. A vehicle would not only yield higher success rates of intelligence gathering but also help local citizens with their daily needs as soldiers take care of citizens when on missions.

Iowans for Ukrainians not only provided the funds for the purchase of one car but three. In all those instances we talked to the soldiers to whom these cars are given, they expressed their eternal gratitude and ensured that they would fight for our freedom till the very end.

Here is our first vehicle we purchased through our partners on the ground:

Imagine our horror and astonishment when we heard that the soldiers were ambushed in this car, thankfully they survived and the car could be repaired. We don’t want to imagine what could have happened if the soldiers were in the field without a vehicle to protect them.

This is the kind of conversations we have, when we find out about such horrors:

Ukrainians will not be stopped by any ambush, our courage and bravery is admired all over the world. We will support our soldiers with everything they need from boots to vehicles. Below you can see two more cars that were registered for our troops with the help of Iowans for Ukrainians.
